# The Journey

Hey guys… Mike Valley here again. Ready to get started? Let’s go!!!!

Since I’ll be with you for the next 6 weeks or so, I wanted to share a little bit about my personal hockey journey. Let's first listen to this message.

When I reflect back on my hockey career as a player, it wasn’t easy. I scratched and clawed my way to that NHL contract.

I was relentless in my training and spent every waking hour trying to become a better player.

At the end of the day, I made it far - but not as far as I wanted to go.

I often wish I could do it all over again, but this time, armed with the knowledge that I have today.

👉 Knowledge that I’ve earned.

👉 Knowledge that I’ve gained by sitting in endless NHL meetings and learning from those I looked up to.

👉 Knowledge that I’ve absorbed by watching what’s worked for the best of the best.

In this course, you’ll be learning some of those hard-earned lessons from some of the most respected people in the game.

It’s your opportunity to gain an advantage by learning from those who have been where you want to go.

The mentors that you’ll meet on this journey are willing to share the roadmap and pitfalls to avoid. All you need to do is be engaged and listen carefully to the wisdom that they are passing on.

The reality is regardless of how good you are now, we can all get better. We can all learn from each other as we chase down our goals and dreams.

Before we get started, let's get fired up! Watch this video and then move on to your first lesson. 👇
