# The Journey Hey guys… Mike Valley here again. Ready to get started? Let’s go!!!! Since I’ll be with you for the next 6 weeks or so, I wanted to share a little bit about my personal hockey journey. Let's first listen to this message. {% embed url="" %} When I reflect back on my hockey career as a player, it wasn’t easy. I scratched and clawed my way to that NHL contract. I was relentless in my training and spent every waking hour trying to become a better player. At the end of the day, I made it far - but not as far as I wanted to go. I often wish I could do it all over again, but this time, armed with the knowledge that I have today. 👉 Knowledge that I’ve earned. 👉 Knowledge that I’ve gained by sitting in endless NHL meetings and learning from those I looked up to. 👉 Knowledge that I’ve absorbed by watching what’s worked for the best of the best.
